Who's With Us?

We have been getting an incredible response to the Radical Experiment over the last several months. There are individuals and families out side of The Church at Brook Hills who have heard about the Radical Experiment and want to be a part of it. We would love to hear from all of you!
If you are not a member of Brook Hills and you or your family are going to be particpating in the Radical Expderiment we would love for you to respond to this post! We want to keep it anonymous, so just let us know if you, or your family, are participating and where you are from.

I live in Wyoming, and have been wrecked inside by the Radical Series. I have been listening to the sermons and have read Dr.Platt's book three times. Every night my wife and I listen to one of the Radical sermons and then study it in God's Word. We have started sharing it with a couple that we are friends with. My wife and I tithe at our local church and also give online. I Praise God for leading me to Dr. Platt's Radical series and his book. The Radical Series has brought me closer to God and has me giving more time to serving Jesus. Thank you so very much to the members of The Church At Brook Hills and Dr. Platt.

I am a student at Union University in Jackson, TN. It's always a joy to have David Platt come and teach us for three days. I am really sad that I'm graduating and won't get to hear him in person anymore. But, my fiance (he's in Memphis) and I have committed to the Radical Experiment. I'm excited to see how God uses this in my life and in our life together!

We are members at Brook Hills and have begun the Radical Experiment. Thanks for the leadership by example. Seeing the church staff reduce the overall budget and then contribute the realized surplus money to Compassion Int'l was inspiring. Praise God for a church that puts its money where its heart is!

Although I am a member of another local church here in Birmingham, I have been blown away with a renewed passion for serving Christ. We are using all of your resources and have benefitted from them in our family. We attend your church on Sun.nights and we want to thank you for your bold, theologically sound, empassioned preaching & teaching. Keep up the good work!

We are worshiping as a family on Sunday nights or Monday nights each week. Our five daughters (ages 5-15)loved week 2 (when we started) and are looking forwarded to this new tradition. Thank you for making this available to everyone. That is very generous of you. We are looking forward to all that God will do in our lives as a family as a result of this time together. My Wife and I just got back from a medical missions trip from Uganda and The Radical Experiment is truly helping us focus on our true life goals. Overall the program has a nice following in Charleston, South Carolina. We feel so blessed to be part of this.

We are members of Brook Hills and have recently moved to NYC. We are so excited about the Radical Experiment!! New York has presented many challenges. But, in spite of all of the changes that living in a city of 8 million people can present, we are excited for this new journey. We were a part of Jim and Betty Warren's original small group and we too are now starting our own small group here in the city. Each day we are in awe of the people groups that we come in contact with. This city truly is a mission field and we look forward to what the Lord has in store for us here. We are so excited to be studying together with our brothers and sisters in Bham and around the world!!

I'm commiting! I'm excited about beginning this journey with the body of Christ at Brook HIlls and am anticpating what God will do in and through us as we Radically seek the things that are above, not the things that are on earth. Praise God.

My husband and I are wanting to read the entire bible this year, and this is an INCREDIBLE resource. We have a 3 year old and a 10 month old, so I plan on using the family guide to incorporate activities with our daughter. I'm so excited! I just sent in my request for a login and username. Hi! I am a student from Union University and have been blessed by Dr Platt's visits to my school over the past 3 years. I just got back from Passion 2010 in Atlanta and plan to get on board with you. It is overwhelming and soooo exciting to be on the brink of a new decade with a generation of students and a faith family like Brook Hills --- To GOD be all Glory! I just wanted to say thank you for pressing on in pursuing his Word and how to live for HIS Glory. I look forward to seeing where God leads HIS Church (Capital "C" - global, encompassing the whole of Brook Hills, Passion, and others in the Church scattered in the US & World) over the next 360 days. In Christ, Alyssa Bantz ps - is there any way that I could gain access to the daily reading plan, or have a site from which I could purchase it?

All the way from Washington State! Another family "ruined" because of your ministry - we pray our worldly life continues to be destroyed by Holy Spirit who is moving in the preaching and teaching of Brook Hills big time. We have been listing to Dr Platt and brethren for about 6 months...since I first heard Pastor Platt rebuke, oops, I mean exhort the Southern Baptist Convention. Sorry Dr MacArthur and Pastor Piper, I'll be back once I have gone through all of Brook Hills teaching material, maybe 2 years from now :-) Acts 1:8

My husband, boys and I are also participating in the Radical Experiment. We are in the Birmingham area and are members of another church, but have been so challenged by the Holy Spirit through watching David's messages online. We are excited to see what God will do through the obedience of His people.

This is so right on. My husband and I, we pastor a church in Oregon, just returned from a trip overseas to help train people for missions. We are always amazed at how many people there, and around the globe, who have committed themselves to serve where ever God send's them, often have to deal with the issue of no finances. Many people become discouraged, leave or are considering leaving the field because they loose their support at home. It's so sad because we live in such a rich country, the resources are here, but we choose to spend them on ourselves. This is a wake up call, to put our money on the line for God's purposes and not our own. Thank you for your inspiration for all of us. I am going to read the book I just discovered today.

I'm the father of relatively new twins in Frisco, TX. Already forced to reevaluate our finances, we'll be doing it again. I listen and I am challenged weekly by David via Podcast. I heard the Radical Series about a year ago. My wife and I are in the process of reading David's book now, and we'll be doing this remotely...with the challenge of developing a selfless and gospel centered home...an example to be set before our children so that prayerfully they will grow up with a hunger and desire to carry the gospel worldwide!!!

I am a mom in Wisconsin, who is being inspired by the Radical Series, along with several college aged students. My son and some of his friends, invited me to join them weekly. We meet in our home, watch the podcast, which generate great discussions...and then we pray! God is at work capturing our hearts!

God has used the message of Radical to change and challenge me. I bought it for my church staff and then for our deacons. Since then, we taught it for one of our Wednesday Bible electives and the momentum continues to build. I will be leading our church in Fayetteville, NC through the Radical Experiment in 2011 and anticipate great things.
